PV systems can be installed anywhere where sufficient sunlight is available. The optimal yield is on southern directed areas with an angle of about 30°. Deviations towards southwest / southeast or roof tilt between 25° to 60° reduce the energy yield only slightly. However, shading by trees, neighboring buildings and roof structures should be avoided.
