Audi’s rooftops are producing solar energy
On Audi’s rooftops in Neckersulm, Gehrlicher Solar AG built a photovoltaic plant with the size of 27,000 square meters. It was connected to the grid in October 2010. 10,700 modules are now producing more than 1,900 megawatt-hours of green energy per year. CO2 savings amount to about 1,040 tons per year.
