The remuneration of a plant is determined by the statutory royalty rates - minus the corresponding decrease for the year of commissioning.

If there are several photovoltaic systems on the same premises or in close proximity, these are then assessed. This happens regardless of the actual ownership - for the purpose of determining the actual salary. Requirement that the facilities within a period of twelve calendar months have gone into operation (§ 19 EEG).

The claim for compensation under the EEG is limited in duration: 20 years plus the year of commissioning.
