Leading FDP politicians visit Gehrlicher Solar AG

On 13 January, Horst Meierhofer and Sebastian Körber, both Members of the Bundestag visited Gehrlicher Solar AG at its location in Neustadt. During a guided visit of the company’s logistics center, CFO Ralph Schemmerer introduced Gehrlicher Solar AG’s business divisions and described the worldwide development of the market.

 

During the conversation that followed, themes such as the current energy policies, compensation rates and the importance of the ground mounted systems market segment were discussed. Also the significance Germany for the solar branch, especially for the development of projects, was a topic of discussion.

 

Sebastian Körber, spokesman for constructional issues of the Bundestag faction explained: „As a politician in charge of constructional issues, I am impressed with Gehrlicher Solar ‘s performance. It proves that today, money can be earned with ecological and innovative products and services. Thus, middle sized enterprises and owner-managed companies, in particular, are able to secure jobs in the future with their sustainable and future-oriented range of products and services.”

 

Also Horst Meierhofer, Chairman of the FDP Bavarian State faction at the Bundestag, was impressed after his visit and said: „Gehrlicher is a wonderful example of a successful Bavarian middle sized company with a great success story – a company which is at home in Bavaria and present in the world at the same time!”
