What is solar energy ?

The term Photovoltaics is used to describe the conversion of radiant energy, mostly solar energy, into electric energy.
Crystalline solar modules with a size ranging between approx. 0.7 m² and 6 m² consist of individual cells connected in series and absolutely visible to the naked eye. In a physical reaction, these cells convert the solar light striking them into direct current which is converted by an inverter into alternating grid-compliant current with the relevant voltage.
Due to the existing general conditions stated in the German "Act on Granting Priority to Renewable Energy Sources", photovoltaic systems are profitable in Germany too. They are easy to install and hardly need any servicing. Would you like to participate in the triumphal procession of photovoltaics?
